We know that $2,000 is an extreme budget. But it can be done. We know that because we have run the numbers and created workable design concepts. But we know it can be better. Much better. So we ask you now to let your inner developer roar and soar for this important project and show us the magnificent. Bring your resourcefulness, you practicality, your genius, your passion and compassion to this - and accept the challenge. How to take part

Step 1. Dream up your design. Create conceptual drawings or rendering.

Step 2. Source materials. Create a list of materials needed.

Step 3. Return to this page. Enter sources and materials into the form below.

Step 4. Proceed to step 4 (see below). Post photo, design notes and name your home.
